Kathy Daily, RVT

Kathy Daily graduated from Colby Community College with a degree in veterinary technology in 1974, and has been with the El Dorado Animal Clinic since 1977.  In addition, Kathy is part of VetMedTeam.com, an educational site for veterinary staff members.  She is a huge advocate of education and encourages all those interested in veterinary technology to pursue their degree and certification.  She has helped several students obtain their degree through online programs, which requires hands-on clinical training.  Kathy is also a big believer in obedience training.

Kathy and her husband, Lynn, have 2 daughters, Nicole and Terin.  Nicole followed in Kathy’s footsteps, and became a registered technician as well.  In fact, Kathy and Nicole were the first mother/daughter pair to graduate from Colby with a veterinary technology degree.

Kathy and Lynn live on a small farm, where they raise sheep, cattle, hogs, chickens, and have various horses and dogs.  Involved with dog rescue, therapy dogs, and training for many years, Kathy has been a foster home for unwanted dogs, taught obedience classes, and is currently showing her “puppy” in the ring.

Kathy officially retired in May 2021, and is enjoying the extra time she has to tend to her garden, play with the dogs, and even visit her grandkids! We appreciate the years of service she gave to our clinic and our community and wish her the best of luck in her next endeavors of showing and breeding her Golden Retrievers!
